lacking of warning for unsupplied units

Post by harald68 »

there should be some warning if units are not supplied.

(maybe changing the colour of the affected areas to a stripped two-colour code)

it's really annoying, when one is occupied with thinking about a "good move" and oversees an obvious and fatal mistake.

Do you think that your opponent will warn you in a real life game ?
Just click on flags in player panels to check supply lines.

yes & i would be able to take my turn back.

does this work on phone too?
i just see the option of making the controled countries Red & Grey, but that doesnt tell me, whether a unit is supplied or not.

Part of the game is to "see" how your opponent can cut your supply.
I think it should be optional.

Wondering why Petrozavodsk doesn’t have any supply lines anywhere…. Leningrad is surprisingly easy to cut off. Lose Moscow, all supply gone unless you have a ship on the lake west of Moscow

If you have units in Vologda and Karelia, and there's no Axis plane in Petrozavodsk, Leningrad is in supply.

Supply goes over lakes/water unless it's blocked by boat or plane

Sure but if there’s an Axis tank in Moscow, and I’ve also lost Smolensk, then I can’t move troops in Karelia, Leningrad, Baltics. Why?

Because while they're not out of supply, moving them literally anywhere would cause them to go out of supply, likely due to troops in Finland disturbing Karelia.

In the given example, if you had 2 infantry in Karelia, you should be able to move one of them to Leningrad, then move the one in Leningrad and so on.

It's sometimes also about the order in which you move your troops.
