Game balancing for more than 2 players

Just some feedback about my experiences in 3 persons game.

If player A has a good 1st round that takes away 8 points from another player, player B and C can win every other round after and still lose the game eventually.

Wondering if there needs to be some tweaks so that one bad opening round doesn't doom the entire game and make the rest of the game pointless.

Those games are pretty much a 4p affair (Odin, Scout, Dealt, ..)

At least: play for 20 points, not 15. But I love this game with 2P. From 4P and up, its almost all luck to me.
