Stacking Issue

Post by Beenacki »

Hello everyone!

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if this is just the way that the game was created, but if you stack are you supposed to be able to see the game pieces underneath your stack, or ONLY the top one? I'm having a hard time keeping track of my stacks right now as I'm only able to see the top cubes!

Hello!

I'm not sure if I understand your problem correctly. You are meant to see all the pieces on your board (and your opponent's as well). And I am always able to see them, regardless if I'm playing on desktop (in Firefox) or on mobile app. I checked a reply of your last game and I could also see very clearly your buildings that one was atop a red piece and the other atop the brown one and that your opponent had a mountain that had 3 gray pieces. If you didn't see it, it seems like some sort of displaying bug and a screenshot would be helpful.

Or perhaps you mean you can only see one cube (the goldish-brown thingy in a shape of 6-sided dice) that you put from the animal card on your terrain when the terrain is good for the animal? If so, you can only ever see one of them on one board field, because you can only ever put one. If you have one animal cube on a field, you cannot place another one on the same field, even if the terrain around it is good for another animal too.

I have this exact same problem if I login using the Firefox browser. I can only see the top of anything I place in a given space, so it can be difficult to remember how tall my trees and mountains are, especially in a turn-based game. If I use Brave browser, however, I can clearly see the stacked tiles. Since you say that you are able to see them using Firefox, I assume it must be an issue with my browser settings or possibly an extension that I have, but I wouldn't know where to start looking to fix this.

That's how it looks for me on Chrome (both PC and macOS).
