New map UI is incomprehensible

Post by cranesflyhigh »

So recently the UI at the bottom of the map got updated into something I (and the other players at my table) think way more confusing. From the linked screenshot I think you will struggle to determine what awards and milestones were funded, so I will let you know: green has funded the Planner milestone and the Scientist award (they were playing Vitor), and I (yellow, Mining Guild, cube invisible) have funded Builder. Yet only green cubes are visible and they show up at the top milestone and award, Terraformer and Landlord: none of which were funded at the time. Even worse, now the interface isn't clickable: before you could just easily click the ui to find the awards.

Is there a way to revert this? The 3 of us were unable to determine how.

(posting here, cause this seems like a feature, not a bug)

I had that in one game this morning too but it was back to normal in the next game I played.

I cannot see any screenshot. Btw awards now have an overview button on the left.

Oh, shoot! I tried to add it as an attachment, even with an edit, and it does not let me post an image. Maybe it is a BGA thing to not show edits out of safety? Am I missing something. It was a weird vertical layout instead of the usual horizontal one - but it seems like others have experienced it too.
