Throwing my support in too. Love the new expansion. I'd love to play it online.

It is really good! Please Kayvon... plsss!
Our physical copy of Gaia Project hit the table just a couple days ago. Still a great game!

I don't own the expansion. I would love to play it on BGA, but I don't have any plans to revisit the Gaia Project code. At this point, I'm focused on other projects while maintaining GP against any game-breaking bugs (and responding to a dozen false bug reports every week).

Thanks for doing such an amazing job with the initial Gaia implementation. The work you've done on it is such a delight for fans of heavier strategy games.

Is there any way you would reconsider? The expansion, although not massive in size, changes the game so drastically that playing the base game afterwards is just depressing xD. Ill definitely cancel both my premium subs if there are no plans to put the expansion on BGA; granted that's only because GP is the only board game I'm currently interested in.

All of that being said; Would it be somehow possible to convince you to code the expansion? I would honestly even show some support in the form of donations if that would help!

Gaia Project was not developed by BGA staff. One person canceling premium subs or sending in some donations would probably not move the needle much even if it were, but for freelancers who received a one-time payment for the adaptation, those incentives are completely meaningless.

We are fans of the game as well, and we agree that it would be great for Lost Fleet to come to BGA, but I'm not aware that Feuerland has given licensing permissions, which would need to happen before any development.

Agreed with Mogri. Begging Kayvon to do the implementation before it's even clear if Feuerland is open to having it implemented on BGA is getting the cart way before the horse.

Arc Nova Marine Worlds is the latest high profile expansion to be supported and there was a one year gap where it was physical only.

And if Kayvon is unable to do it, there is a chance there is another developer who would be open to doing it building on the base for the main game. Also I will take the opportunity to thank Kayvon for their work in porting the base game. I have had many enjoyable sessions and hours thanks to you!

That makes sense. Here's to hoping that Feuerland is indeed open to having the expansion implemented on BGA or, at the very least, on Steam.

Still though, it doesn't change the fact that I would be willing to donate to such a project if/when it ever did take off! I'd love the opportunity to support the development of what is currently my favorite game!

Hello guys, this is my favourite game and I am hoping they will add the expansion on BGA soon.
I took contact with Feuerland Spiele and they told me that they do not know if they are going to let BGA put the expansion online.
It's not a "no" but neither a "yes", I told them to please contact BGA and see if they can get convinced :D

Let's hope for the best!
