Are there specific dates, and times of the day relative to the time zone, where each new round starts?

I imagine this is already all plotted out, but I can't find where it is published anywhere? It would be very helpful for planning, especially over holidays, if we could know when the games in each new round of these qualifiers start ... I think a new round of games is starting soon, but I don't know exactly when?

Last week I thought maybe they would start on Saturday, but it turned out to be Friday, and I'd lost a whole 12 hours before I even started playing (and then I had one of those opponents who would never play two turns in a row, not even within 10 minutes, even if I literally played within a second of them going). I really do not want to go through that again, having to check the site constantly because I think my opponent might be trying to time me out.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any banners about it. I'm not active in BGA forums (somebody put me on to it on the 2nd round). I was unaware that there would be any information that I would have to read in any tournament comment box. I understand now that BGA doesn't have anywhere on the tournament information page to ad any important rules for the tournament, probably an oversight there by BGA and a great improvement if they did ad somewhere to put important tournament information.

I'm sorry you missed every links to the rule before and after registering. As I said, I did my best to put it everywhere I could.

About why I think it's unfair that you recover your eligibility. First, it's about players you defeated. You play in 4 different tournaments. In each of them, you defeated 2 players.... and most of them had only one registration. Only one ticket for the semifinal, that went off after losing against a player who has 4 tickets. 8 players are out, when only 2 should have been.
Second point is the fact that I don't want to start playing with the rules. If I say yes to you, then someone else can come tomorrow, next week, before round 6... and plead for his eligibility.

I agree with daedin and sysyphus.
For a swiss tournament, the more rounds there are, the more the result will be in line with the level of the players.
there is already enough room for bad luck in the knockout tournament

Make it four! Even if I don't make it, more rounds means more thrilling games to spectate

Timing wise 2 additional rounds in the swiss could fit if one looks at the current timing schedule. The semis would just finish mid March instead of March 1. Of course, leaves 10 days less for the organizers to get everything arranged for the 8 travelling players.

Also possible to start the Swiss on Jan 1 instead of waiting for the qualifying tournaments to finish. Extra 25 days!

Or start on jan 15, no overlap and 10 extra days for 2 more rounds
And still 15 days to prepare semifinal because you will know the classified players on jan 1
