Tutorial?

I understand the basic premise of the game, but there are some aspects that puzzle me when I'm playing, that could hopefully be explained in a tutorial. Namely:

Sometimes I complete a figure but I don't get the option to place my token. It''s a color I needed, and the figure is definitely complete, but suddenly it's just my opponent's turn. This happened to me twice today, although I've been playing for a few days and haven't seen it before.

When I choose a figure to give my opponent, sometimes I see that it changes direction when placed on their side.

Sometimes I'm given the option to choose which direction I want to receive a figure, but not always? I don't understand this.

Can someone help me? And is a tutorial planned (or is there one in alpha I can check out?)

Would be nice if you can say which game the first thing occurs, at it seems a bug or maybe a misunderstanding and the figure was not really correct.

For the second one, the rules say:

The player receiving the Figure tile places it:
• On the first empty Figure space in front of them, following the orientation of the symbol.
• OR, if there are no more empty Figure spaces in front of them, the player chooses which Figure tile to
cover, following the orientation of the symbol

Sorry, it has happened in many games. It might just be a misunderstanding on my part. If a figure is UNDER another one, it doesn't count if I complete it?

I guess you mean for example in move 25 of this game?

If a figure is UNDER another one, it doesn't count if I complete it?

I think you figured it on your own: indeed, you cannot score a figure that is hidden under another one.
