There is still ELO-leak happening after this supposed "fix".

I had won previous game against this opponent and next game ended in draw. I had higher elo and lost points normally to draw, but they got 3% penalty on their gained points due to being on lose streak.

Game after that I won game after that and neither of us was in any streaks and elo points went normally again.

It was ridiculous idea to implement this system in first place. On top of being bad idea even if it worked properly, BGA screwed up its implementation as well. Layers of ineptitude just keep on giving.

The problem remains and the disappointment does not fade. You failed on so many levels it's completely bizarre. You also regularly make claims along the lines of 'we care about your opinion so much' in many different topics - how do you that with a straight face? Everytime I see it, I think of the ELO issues here.

I still feel cheated about this whole issue as it marred most of my last annual premium subscription period. How are you going to compensate me for that? I demand a reply.

Hi,

Not gonna run through all the pages since February. All I’m gonna say is that ELO rank has not been removed, it’s been frozen. It’s unfair to players that began new co-op games after the ELO change, because now they are stuck in apprenticeship indefinitely. It’s also unfair give people the power to ignore that rank In their table creation when it’s not accurate to their skill level. It’s can be highly unattractive and discouraging to think someone is new to the game and they aren’t.

In the past, some of the strongest players refrained from playing as they could lose ELO, attempting to prevent losing their hard obtained current rank. This lead to situations where players kept their rank without playing anymore. We clearly want to encourage you to play to keep your rank. This will also help other players to be able to compete against the best.
Doing so, a regular ELO decay is introduced to slowly drop the ELO from top ranked players that do not play anymore. The decay will be -10% at the end of the Arena Season for all Strong players and above that did not play any ranked game, but this could be adjusted later (both scope and frequency). The decay will not move player from a rank lower than Strong.
Where does the -10% come from? Do y'all even know what ELO means? It's an insult to the ELO rating systems to "invent" a derivative that works with goals opposite to what ELO does and still call it ELO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

How is it that in some team games, such as Bandito, despite many games played, the player's level still shows as a beginner?

Yes, and there is simply no excuse for this situation.

The only possible argument (it takes resources to fix it) is invalidated when you consider that a lot of effort was spent to introduce this mess in the first place. This is truly a huge messup and I am honestly baffled how the decision-makers at BGA do not realize how bad the situation is.

What do you think, how many of the people disliking this nonsense are going to ever subscribe again, knowing this is how you treat paying customers? You lost a lot of paying subscribers due to this issue (including me, and many others who stated their similar intent, and many others who didn't say anything just acted).

These changes are a first step towards a more enjoyable overall experience for ranking on the platform and that we heavily rely on your feedback during this process. We acknowledge the existing limitations in the current system and will continue to explore ideas for enhancing the team or cooperative game experience.
Whenever you could be bothered to communicate at all, it was bad decisions and explicit lies to thousands of people. This whole situation is beyond disappointing, and you are the face of it. Doesn't that bother you at all?
