Player timed out but is still in game and there are no options to boot - how does this work?

Post by Mystical Goose »

Not sure how this is supposed to work, but player timed out in turn based scythe after 24 hours but they are still there and there is no "boot them" pop up and I can't find the interface to do it anywhere. They have a bad rep for abandoning for long periods of time and quitting. I don't fault them as long as I can get them out.

How do you do it because it isn't clear to me.

It's not a popup, it's just on the bar at the top where the action buttons normally are (where it says which player's turn it is). I can't see if the button is there for you, since I am not in the game, but the table looks normal, so it should be there.

Thanks!!! I realized - does the boot option only become available for the player whose turn would be next? Like they're the ones offered the opportunity to skip this person. Makes sense, it's just good to know that's where the first choice falls.

Next time I'll post table number, but its resolved now. Thanks for the help!1

No. Any other player in the game can boot them. Even another player who has also run out of time (which has been the source of controversy in the past).
