Gaia Project on iPad?

Does anyone here manage to play Gaia Project on an Apple iPad? If you do, please post a short confirmation.

Why I‘m asking: I play BGA games mostly on an iPad Pro (1st gen.). However, in Gaia Project, I‘ve not managed to complete a game, because founding a federation seems impossible (Chrome hangup). The reason for this may well be my hardware. As my iPad is pretty old at this point, I‘m considering buying a new one - for several reasons really, but if anyone could confirm the BGA version of Gaia Project (my favourite game) runs smoothly on iPad, I guess that might speed up the decision-making process :) Thanks for your help!

Yes, it runs on ipad. For all iOS devices, please refer to the FAQ, which has instructions for improving performance using the game options.

This thread would be better posted in the Gaia Project forum, rather than the site-wide discussion forum.
