Is there a way to make BGA respect my "number of players" settings?

Every once in a while, when I queue for a game, a lobby pops up that has the number of players I have specifically set to "never want to play" in the game's settings. I snap click "Play", because people cancel lobbies after a few seconds unless everyone readies up, and then find myself in a lobby I don't want to play in. I've eaten a few D/C karma penalties because I'm not playing the game X at Y player count, and the other player(s) refuse to abandon.

Is there a way to make it so that I'm never added to lobbies that have the wrong number of player slots?

If you're using the new (game page) lobbies, the settings in the old (Play Now) lobby under the cog don't apply (as far as I understand). There's minimal ways to actually indicate the flexibilities you want (eg. if you say you're flexible on player counts, you mean, I'll take anything). If you want the old lobby settings to apply, you need to do your searches from the old lobby.

If you're doing searches in the old lobby, then perhaps there's a bug. But I've never had a problem with queuing there, though I'm only queuing for Arena games which don't give you a choice on player count (for non-Arena, I just create my own tables at the player count I want, rather than using auto-queuing).
