No. They originally posted in Discussions and it was MOVED here by a mod after I reported it as off topic in Discussions.

You can be excused for not knowing the history because unfortunately topics aren't tagged as having been moved when this happens.

You were probably playing cities and knights.
At the barbarian attack there were not enough knights to defend Catan, and your city got raided and degraded into a settlement.
