Is this game suited for turn based or just live play?

I would not recommend to play it turn-based. There is a lot of interaction between players.

It is possible turn-based. (I play mostly turn-based.) But you have to read the game history chat every turn. If not, you wouldn't get the "line" of the game and miss a lot of information (and interaction). And you have to sort all the messages in the history chat to understand, what really happened, because all of the things are at once for the system and the sorting order of the messages is not like a human on the game table would decide.

Game is okay for turn based except in order it to be most fair, players need a chance to nope if they have one, and that would let everyone know that someone has a nope
