Zero Interaction?

Post by messyjesse »

On the start/play game page it says this game has zero interaction, now I've only played once, but I think it should say more than that as its an area control game... thoughts?

This might turn some people away and seems misleading and probably mistakenly set at aero

I totally agree with you, I think that game as a high level of interaction (looking at you, "dominate" action).

it seems that the moderators of the BOARDGAMEARENA platform are deliberately limiting the movements of players who have not purchased the PREMIUM package. Whenever I play with PREMIUM players, I cannot build dens and upgrade them even though I meet all the conditions described. Moderators do not respond to reported bugs. This platform is not fair

this game is Highly interactive.. The competition is all on the same map not separate boards.. and BGA needs more of this type of game. too many multiple solo games where the interaction is simply taking tokens or dafting cards before the other player.. then playing your own board.. even terraforming mars has less competative interaction.

Agreed on the part about interaction. Its not just dominate. Kicking people out of a tile is extremely important. Moving onto a lone wolf or den makes them not count towards scoring. Upgrading a den with a lone wolf in it kicks the lone wolf out

Nobody knows what "interaction" means in BGA. Nobody knows what 0 means, nobody knows what 5 means. The same goes for complexity, strategy and luck. There are no definitions or guidelines. Developers just set the value they want, or leave it the default (which is probably 3), or 0...

In the case of interaction, I believe in French it appears as "diplomacy". It may be intended for player-to-player interaction outside the board, so to speak (trading, alliances, etc.). But again, no one knows.
