Clsoing round

Post by BurntBoards »

Now while I do feel some responsibility for the rise in early round closings, (I never saw people doing it when i first started playing)
I think you are closing us off from a way to come back from a stacked round. If someone gets the cards early and are up 30, what other recourse does a person have? An early close is a gamble situation that allows you to have a chance.

This game already has enough elements of luck. Imo no need to add more unnecessarily.

Yeah but it adds some amount of suspense. Otherwise someone who lucked into a great start and is up 30 just won the game. The other rounds being windowdressing basically

Changing the game into a coin toss is significantly worse. Also, don't forget you can concede in 2-player games.
