OK, only played 12 of these silly almost kids’-game but it let me win the first then lost every one since! All to higher ranked players who either had perfect cards at the end OR I drew 2 or 3 exploding kittens in a row. Now, there’s not much strategy here but it’s obvious it’s rigged. If my opponent needed 2, 3 Nopes at the end, had it. Needed an Attack to respond, had it. Needed to randomly steal my Defuse, did it. I play now just to see how it will make me lose. Hilarious! Don’t try and tell me it’s random. It’s not. I’m now telling my opponent, if higher ranked, they’ll win when the game starts! Never been wrong. And I play games like Obsession, Tapestry so strategy is very much in my wheelhouse. This game always gives my higher ranked opponents just exactly what they need at the end. OR I draw the Exploding card multiple times in a row. This. Is. So. Utterly. Broke.

You should feel honored that the developer took the extra effort to include some code like 'IF username == 'bvibum' THEN ...
Re: Exploding Kittens rigged bad!
Maybe they have what they need at the end of the game due to their earlier choices?
Also, someone higher ranked beating you is kind of expected as they obtained that higher rank by playing well in the first place.
It's not the game that 'lets you win' or 'beats you', it's the specific opponents. The game has some randomness, but maybe that's not all that counts. I suggest changing your mindset; try to figure out what players beating you did well. That's how you improve your own game.

At the time of checking, the latest player to win against you has a win rate of 4 out of 12 games, so hardly a powerful expert who is getting assistance from BGA game coding.
Wrong forum... try Exploding Kittens instead!

Re: Exploding Kittens rigged bad!
You’re right! How many times I got two exploding kittens in a row and lost because of that! How many times all the exploding kittens in a deck landed on my turn and I lost!
Re: Exploding Kittens rigged bad!
Yes the game is rigged against you and you only
Re: Exploding Kittens rigged bad!
Honestly, it's just that you're making a lot of mistakes in your games.
In your last game's endgame (Table #611786149 - Move 35):
In your last game's endgame (Table #611786149 - Move 35):
- You had 1 Attack, 1 Nope, 2 Defuses, and 1 Shuffle.
- Your opponent could have had up to 2 Attacks, 1 Nope, 1 Defuse, and 1 Skip.
- There were two cards left in the deck, and the top card was an exploding kitten.
- Mistake 1: If you drew the card, you could've burned a defuse, then drawn the last card, and you would've won at the end. Instead of drawing to grab the last card, you Noped him.
- Mistake 2: After he Noped you back. You still could've drawn the exploding kitten, burned the defuse, then drawn the last card and still won. Instead, you attacked him back, and then he attacked you to make you draw 6 and eventually lose.

Trust me, people who make these kinds of posts not only don't, but don't even want to, think about [insert game they're whining about] on this level.kelvinlam wrote: ↑11 January 2025, 22:07In your last game's endgame (Table #611786149 - Move 35):

Because of this, if you got into an Attack/Nope War, he would automatically win. However, after he attacked you,
- There were two cards left in the deck, and the top card was an exploding kitten.

This. And also (almost) every game that is based on random events (card draw, dice, etc) has at least one post from people complaining how the game is actually not random and totally unfair to them.Meeplelowda wrote: ↑12 January 2025, 03:05 Trust me, people who make these kinds of posts not only don't, but don't even want to, think about [insert game their whining about] on this level.
