Exploding kitten defuse always pute it to very top?

so me and someone I know were playing exploding kittens but when they defused 4 total times each one set it to the VERY next card, is that normal or not?

Well, the post is now in Exploding Kittens forum, must have been moved.
I had the same problem with the very first game I played:
drew the exploding kitten card, defused it, was asked to put it back into deck - but could not adjust deck position slider. tried entering a number, tried clicking, drawing the slider - nothing worked. What am I doing wrong?
