Jaipur

Post by Een »

Since the end of last week, a new game is available on BGA. We have the pleasure to present you with Jaipur, a game from Sébastien Pauchon published by his company, GameWorks.

In Jaipur, you are an immensely rich merchant, well positioned to gain even more prestige by becoming the Maharaja's official trader. Only one obstacle stands between and this supreme honor: your long-lasting nemesis, a merchant (almost) as prosperous as you are (but much less charming, of course!)
To pick between you two, the Maharaja decided to set up a challenge you in your shared speciality... Trading of course! The market is gonna dash and jump from your trading!

Jaipur is a very nice trading game for two players, quick and tense. Complete with some very beautiful art, it is as pleasant to the eyes as its rythm is facinating. We are pretty sure that you will love playing this game!

We address a big thank you to Sébastien Pauchon for authorising us to realise this adaptation, and for advising us during the test phase to create an online version really close to the feeling of the original game!

Nice implementation and game. Thanks again, guys.

For the record: After playing some games here, I have ordered a physical copy :)

Totally agree. It's a game that I NEVER would have purchased if it weren't for Board Game Arena. Top notch!! More companies should consider using BGA as an avenue to expose gamers to titles like these that don't get a lot of publicity.

I've got "a physical copy" of this game and I'm loving it! But there is no time or partner for the game usually that's why on-line version is a good alternative.

Completely concur. It's an amusement that I NEVER would have acquired if not for Board Game Arena. First rate!! More organizations ought to consider utilizing BGA as a road to open gamers to titles like these that don't get a great deal of exposure.

This is one of my favorite two player games. I have a physical copy and my wife and I love it. I love the match feel of it as you play to best of three.

BGA has made another sale. After learning Jaipur here, I added it to my current order from a major online game retailer. Thanks BGA!
