where do I see, which cards (shipcards, beercards, helmetcards) I've already played? Sometimes hard to see which requirements are already met.

I was struggling with this as well. You can find it on your playerboard on the top left.

The numbers are hidden behind the floating menu icons. I've posted a bug report to ask them to make more space on the left side. Please upvote!
