Trophies Disappearing

At what point do trophies disappear?

I had a bunch of top 20 trophies, and it seems like a lot of them disappeared although some are still there. I was thinking this would happen when I hadn't played a game for so long that it falls into the unranked category. But no, I'm currently missing trophies for Senet, Tash-kalar, Armadora, Cinco, Uncle Chestnut's Table Gype, Spyrium, Gear & Piston, Expedition: Northwest Passage, Amyitis, Twin Tin Bots.

In all of these games I still show up in the high scores for that specific game as top 20, I just don't have the trophy. I received the Uncle Chestnut's Table Gype trophy just yesterday, and it's already gone. I've had trophies disappear and turn up again at certain times, and I have no idea why that is.

I'm trying to become one of those people with 100k+ points, and that's going to be hard if 15k points just disappear without me knowing why...

It's a bug. For some reason trophies disappear, or they get mixed up. There are several reported bugs related to this issue, including this one:

Even though it was reported 15 months ago and has collected 31 votes, it is still in the status "Bug has not been reproduced by developers yet".

I'm trying to become one of those people with 100k+ points, and that's going to be hard if 15k points just disappear without me knowing why...

Yeah, I know. At one point, I was missing 250k.
