Account always showing online for friends

As title, I am always showing as online for my friends. This leads to invites and messages, and people think that I am ignoring them.

I've tried logging out of all devices, and then left it for 24 hours before logging back in but I am still online!!

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

This happened to me once and it turned out I had BGA open in one of my 30+ open tabs on my phone and forgot about it.

If you've installed a chrome (or firefox) extension for gba it could be this ... by default it scans the tables you're on and you're seen online, but you have an option to disable that.
