Quoridor: what move options for black ?

Yesterday, IRL, we reach this position. It was the turn of the black one to move (he move to the top of the image). He did'nt have anymore fence.
Where can he move ? Only any ways, waiting the path is open ? And what if he had once fence still ?

The rules prohibit jumping more than one pawn at a time (figure 10 in the rules), but since the space behind the white pawn is a fence, the black pawn may move to the space to the left of the white pawn. This is in addition to the normal moves of back one space or left one space. Yes, it does look like black would have to move back and forth, waiting for the path to open up.

There are many places for a fence to go, so I won't worry about that situation.
