Finding Friends

Hello Everyone,

I tried searching the forums for "find friends". Unfortunately, the search ignores the word find. This left me wanting more. I am posting this question, because even though I have a number of friends, I am not sure how to find them unless I play a game against or with them. More specifically, I talked a friend of mine to join the ranks of Board Game Arena's players. I would love to make him my friend according to this website. How may I go about doing this?
