Solo play with no time limit, but game ends

I've been playing solo quite a bit, and supposedly there is no time limit to the turns. But in the last couple of days, when I return to the game after a few hours, the game is terminated because "no one has made a move in a long time." This was not happening previously and it seems like with no time limit on the turns it should not be happening at all. Anyone else experiencing this? Or am I interpreting the rule incorrectly?

You're probably starting the game in real-time. Real-time games are abandoned after 4 hours of inactivity. You can start it in turn-based mode, or switch to turn-based after the game starts. Turn-based games are abandoned after several weeks of inactivity.
