Color preferences: can we get an option for "Never make me this color"?

I have my color preferences set and its all good if I create the table. But if I join someone else's table and they happen to have the same top preferred color they get it, and that's fine, makes sense to me since they created the table. However my second, third, or fourth preferred colors are completely ignored and I'm always given yellow which I absolutely hate. I wish they'd fix this or give us a new option for don't put me as this color.

Between all the available colors for each game there's almost never going to be an issue. Especially with just one non premium member at the table you automatically have the person who gets the unwanted color. I've almost never played a game with entirely premium members so this should bethe case 99% of the time.

I suppose that the colors that exists for physical game are the colors used in the same BGA game.
But the colors that you choose in your BGA profile may be colors that not exists in this game !
So you may have colors that exists in the game but not in your profile because BGA can affect only colors that exists in the game.

This is a digital platform. If a significant number of people choose "never make me this colour" for the same colour then they have that data and can just decide "okay, we're changing the RGB values of this colour and replacing it with another." Or better yet just double the amount of colours available in any given game.

As much as I prefer to be red in every game, because when I'm not, I still look for and try to move the red pieces, I think there may occasionally be a thing where a publisher wants the colours in the BGA implementation to match those of the physical game, so BGA cannot just choose whatever colours they want (ok, for games where the publisher doesn't care, they could, but just saying, not always).

That said, I sometimes find it frustrating that player colours are not respected - if my first choice is unavailable, I swear it doesn't take into account the rest of my preferences and in some games, preferences aren't implemented at all (and yes, I have raised a bug about that - but it's not great to offer choosing your colour as a premium perk but then have games not implement it).

Also of note there are competitive games in which you are always on blue team and the enemy team is always red. Just because I have blue pieces on my UI doesn't stop someone from seeing me as yellow on their UI.
Not something I actually expect BGA to implement but it might be feasible for someone to make an add-on that always makes your pieces your preferred colours.

There is another site (which cannot be named) that allows players to choose their preferred color and multiple players can have the same color. There are a few games there that do not allow this like Terra Mystica where the colors have specific abilities. In the rare cases where there is table talk to target a particular player, people quickly learn to use player names rather than colors. The system works exceedingly well.

BGA could at least add this capability to their framework so that new games could take advantage of it. It's very unlikely that they could easily get it working for old games, though.

Somebody once pointed out that having each player see their preferred colour and multiple players with the same colour (from their POV) does get confusing - but yes, I also think that it's quite a good suggestion (and have voted for it).

This isn't the case. My preferred colors in order are: red, purple, blue, green.
I just played a two player game where blue and green should've been available but I was relegated to yellow because the table creator had red as their preference.
