Finding your own lobby^Wtable

Post by Hawke666 »

Is there a way to get back to a table you created, if you close out the window where that table was? It doesn't show up in "games in progress" because the game hasn't started, and I haven't found any way to get back to it.

Edit: it's apparently a table, not a lobby.

I'm assuming that when you say "lobby" you are actually meaning "table that hasn't started yet."

If you go to the game lobby (play now), you should be able to see all tables that are waiting to be started. Your table should be there. Doing a text search for your name generally finds it pretty quickly.

Thanks yes, that is what I mean.

However it doesn't seem like the "play now" really lists all the tables.

For example, I am currently waiting at "can't stop #13622766" (realtime) but if I go to the lobby, that game does not appear in the list at all.

Edit: And now when I try to go directly to it, it shows as "abandoned" even though I never hit quit game.

I am not sure, but I think real-time games are considered abandoned when there is nobody at the table.

And you are not "at the table" when you close the tab containing the game?

As far as I know, correct. If you notice the list of "players who want to play this game," that updates quite rapidly as to if they are at a table or not. So, the system seems to be continuously checking to see where everybody is. If it can't verify an active browser connection to a table, it will consider you not there.

Again, I do not have access to the inner workings of this site, so I may be wrong.
