Waiting through commercials for non-premium play

I'm confused, which commercials are you talking about? I'm non premium member and I don't get any commercials. When I had membership, I used to encounter similar problem but I just assumed it's because people started a search and then got busy with something else while waiting.. so I abandoned those tables after 1-2 mins waiting and started new ones. You're a premium, what's the problem to start a new table?

I had a couple weeks between my premium memberships because of life. I had to watch 30 second ads that told me how important it was to become a member. They are BGA ads trying to convince me that I become premium. Are you saying you never ever see one of those? Not ever ever ever?

I joined BGA over 2 years ago, but became a premium user only 9 months ago. I have never seen an ad of any kind (and I used to play mostly real time premium games back then).

If BGA ever introduced ads like you are describing I would seriously consider leaving the site even if paying players remained unaffected.

I already know that this is the truth. I have sat through it so many times in the last few days. It's very frustrating. I am not asking if it's true that it happens. I'm 100% certain this is happening.

It does nothing but spin and says we are waiting for somebody to agree to start, and their agreement cant count until they watch their commercial.

I'm asking how do I block non-premium members so I don't have to wait through their commercials? I want to give a global red thumb so I personally don't have to wait through the commercial people get when they don't become premium. I shouldn't have to sit and watch the things spin so many times a day because somebody else doesn't do their share by contributing

You "know that this is the truth," yet your only evidence is just a guess and you don't actually know why you're waiting for some users to accept.

I once arrived late to an appointment because I had a flat tire in the bike. I wish they would forbid airplane pilots to ride bikes, that way we would get rid of flight delays, as they wouldn't arrive late. I'm 100% certain that this is happening.

I just tested the waiting time with another account, and what you're saying was false.
As I said above, the waiting time started AFTER everyone confirming the table start, and only a single premium member was enough to skip it.
If you somehow were able to prove otherwise, it should be reported as a bug with detailed information and enough evidence.
FYI, many players go afk or offline after queueing the table. Perhaps you might have encountered such players.

ONE Time of testing if not enough! Have you never been a premium player? It is not every single time you start a game that they make you watch the commercial but quite often and many times a day. It is not a bug it is how they are trying to convince people that become premium. it just means that the people that are already Premium have to wait for them

Again, a waiting screen after table start and waiting time for players are completely different.
If you don't like players going afk after queueing, you can always stick to turn-based. Please don't accuse something without enough evidence.

There are no "ads" in the way you are implying (no video or print ad) just a screen with the countdown timer and the information that you can skip the timer if you are a premium member. The timer starts after every one has accepted to play and only if no premium member is at the table.
You are waiting for players to accept do play the game which has nothing to do with premium and everything to do with the fact that players do not spend the entire time staring at the screen to see if the table is full, so there might be a while until the game actually starts when the table is full.

Never ever ever, my games start immediately after everyone at the table clicks "accept"... I wonder if it's different based on the country you are playing from

All the games you've played (but one) are premium, so there was at least one premium player at the table. The non-premium game you played was against a premium player, so it's the same. This confirms that a premium player at the table cancels the waiting time for everyone.

The delay you experience sometimes before the start is caused by how far away your opponent is. Or your opponent quickly decided he did not want to play you and left. You don't noticed this until you leave
whenever i play someone from Europe it always takes 5-15 seconds to start. No biggie. No commercials. Ever. Never seen one in 6 years here. Not everything is instant. As you must want it to be.
