When I go to this "Account " section, there's is no link labelled"Cancel my subscription ", only another link called"subscribe for automatic renewal "Mathew5000 wrote: ↑01 February 2025, 19:01ktstrike, I'm not sure what you mean by "my page" and "your page". Go to https://boardgamearena.com/preferences and click on "Account" to see your account preferences. When I do this, the top section is labelled "Premium membership". It gives my current plan and the date of my next invoicing, followed by a link labelled "Cancel my subscription". When I click there, I get a dialogue box saying "Are you sure? Your account will remain Premium until the end of the current period, then there will be no automatic renewal."
Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support

This is the text I can see:
"You are Premium member until Mar 1st 2025.
If you want to continue to retain your Premium account after this date, please subscribe using the button below.
2025-02-01: 1 month(s) of membership
Display invoice
Bought 2025-02-01
See all invoices
Subscribe to premium automatic renewal "
That's all, no link to cancel membership,
I like boardgames, just don't have time to play as much as before.

It sounds like your current membership is not set to renew.ktstrike wrote: ↑02 February 2025, 02:58 This is the text I can see:

Re: Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support
Sounds like you already cancelled your premium membership. The cancellation doesn't take effect immediately, of course; you still have premium benefits for the period you paid for.
Re: Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support
Hopefully that's the case, but still the interface is different from what is described in FAQ and support page.
I remember I did not agree to continue paying for subscription.
Another user above also encountered similar issue.
Already made a report to the support team, waiting for response and will see what's going to happen next month.

Re: Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support
to the best of my knowledge, you cant just buy a single month of premium. you sign up for a subscription, just like NetFlix, Amazon Prime, ect. unless you cancel it, you will get charged the next month, thats what a subscription is.ktstrike wrote: ↑02 February 2025, 10:01 Hopefully that's the case, but still the interface is different from what is described in FAQ and support page.

Re: Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support
You can actually buy premium without subscribing. It is even impossible to subscribe if you pay with paypal and no credit card. You just pay for some period of time and after that it ends automatically.

Re: Just cancelled Premium due to complete lack of support
i think if they already cancelled, they wouldn't have that same premium membership section and cancel option.Mathew5000 wrote: ↑01 February 2025, 19:01ktstrike, I'm not sure what you mean by "my page" and "your page". My sentiments exactly. My Premium membership expires this month.
