How does the politician bonus hex work on Vastitas Borealis without the Turmoil expansion implemented?

Is it just decoration?

Yes since there is no Turmoil its not implemented. The vikings on map just a site on landing, not triggering anyting.

It's so beautiful btw, thank you so much for having Vastitas in alpha. Thank you!!!!

Sorry if this is already answered somewhere else: but out of curiosity - when will the new maps come out of Alpha?
(have played Tharsis many times (physical game), and would like to get some ELO out of the new maps as well

New maps are fun, thanks devs. No idea where to place tiles now; I guess three resource spots make sense? Anyways happy holidays and thanks again.

Amazonis Planitia the smooth plain, another new map was recently added to alpha, go check it out, it's actually my favorite map. I have a soft spot for Thorgate, and in the rebalanced community with all the rebalanced expansions added in, I was able to do all kinds of shenanigans with Thorgate on this one.
