Change my opinion about Secret Prediction

I really don't like playing with Secret Prediction. I like knowing what others bid so that I can take calculted risks. Games are so wild not knowing what people bid, it makes me uncomfortable, lol.
Can you tell me reasons you like this game mode? I wanna get better at it and I need to get used to it and see it with a different pov.

I’m not really a fan of it either. There seem to be more people underbidding in that format

The first 4 hands in Wizard (1/3/5/7) are already pretty random and hard to predict. Secret Prediction on the first hand isn't really that bad. If you are first, you definitely have an advantage. I can't say I like either method more than the other, but it's not game-breaking. I'm not going to change your mind, but maybe it softens the blow a bit.

I think it's by far the best variation. Love getting to the end and seeing 13 of 8 tricks bid, or 8 of 13.

I like the twist. We tried it IRL with our real Wizard cards too - it's a fun game changer!

You can still play the +-1 rule on not-arena mode.

With 5+ ppl, its almost a must for me, as otherwise unbalanced personal targeting gets way too wild.

Similar, but not as serious, with 4 ppl already, even more so with uneven skills, which gives a lot of weight to table order. All less bad with secret predictions.
