Latency in desktop website

I'm having extreme lag/latency issues playing in the desktop/webbrowser version of the website. Actually the whole site is lagging. Hence not putting in a bug report; that part of the website also isn't working. It's to the point where turns take me so long to complete that I've timed out several games.

I'm using Chrome 133.0.6943.53 on MacOS 11.7.10.

I can't explain it. Recently I've had issues with certain games on certain devices. Most recently with sky team.

do you have hardware acceleration enabled?

It all seems to point to the Chrome 133 update. Not sure yet what causes this. All my games seem to be affected including: Orleans, Sky Team, The White Castle. I've also seen reports on Terraforming Mars and Wingspan.

If you're on Chrome V133 and are experiencing Performance Issues or Laggy Interfaces please update to version 133.0.6943.89 or later. A buggy Chrome v133 was released recently but has since been fixed.
