game speed in turn by turn: choose a level of flexibility!

Hi!
I encounter a problem in turn by turn game (arena mode):

in arena you have 2 options for game speed: you select a fix speed or you clic the "flexible" button to be open to other players choices.

I usually clic that button to play with many people, and most of them have selected a "decent" speed. But sometimes people do select the rabbit speed, wich forces you to play really often, many times in the day, and that is not always possible for me.

Lately i had to red thumb a player that was selecting that speed systematically, not to play that speed again with him (but i had no pb with that player!)

Would it be possible to choose the level of flexibility for the game speed? excluding fast game speeds for exemple? (or slow ones, why not?)

Hi!

I suggest you try starting your game from the "Play" page, instead of the page of the specific games. On the "Play" page, you should see the option to switch between Arena and Normal games and Turn-based or Real-time, and below those options there should be your favourite games, then suggested, then other games that you've played, and also a search bar to search any game by the name.

Next to every game, you should see a gear icon, that should take you to the settings of your preferences. You can set there, for example, that you never want to play a very fast game and would rather not play a fast game. When you have this set, the BGA should then try to match you with someone at normal or slow speed, and if it can't find an opponent with those settings, it will also start looking for a table set to fast, but never for very fast ones, if you stated that you never want to join them.

I hope it helps. If you set there that you never want to play on rabbit speed, and it still puts you at the rabbit speed table, then it's a bug and should be reported.

i'd never seen that we could select speed like that in that specific menu. I'll use that one now! But i don't see why you haven't those options in the "games menu" too...
