I have been running an event every Sunday for a couple months. We have 20+ people, trying to start tables, invite opponents, and ask and answer questions about the event.
The problem is, bga freezes up. Sometimes, it’s just a few minutes again and again for an hour or so. Sometimes, it’s a 10 minute delay, followed by lots of 1 minute freezes. This week it was about 1/2 hour not being able to communicate or navigate on the site at all. The site shows a message that they are aware of the problem and working on it, and sometime later it’s working fine, but it is a rough hour or two.
My question is, since this happens absolutely every Sunday, can’t this problem be anticipated? Can’t it be solved before it happens? It’s every single week!

My guess is the site is trying to save money by skimping on servers. We used to be able to click on someone’s history and instantly go to that page. For the last year or so, if you click on someone’s history, it might load right away or take many minutes. Most of the time it times out and you must try that same link a number of times, or give up, and I’m on a good high speed internet connection.
So many pages now load slow on the site, and it’s continually getting worse.
