Trying to get my head around this.So we're not supposed to mention that games are in Alpha-testing or coming to Alpha,even though BGA do exactly that sometimes in their news/bulletins ?

I think this is limited to general BGA reviewers which do not develop or publish the game themselves.
Doing so generally leads to tons of players requesting 'review access' to simply play the incomplete version without any actual contribution.
