. For those of you who wish more finalists, I will ask DoW but I think it won't be possible. For the spectators'seat, they already told me that the location was too small to host spectators. I will ask again though.

Is it not the same location at the museum of the cards at Issy like 2010 and 2014?

Even though I did not participate in this tournament, it was extremely exciting to watch some of those games, espicially in the semi-final. On top of that, the incredible work done by Rwain to summarize the duels I wasn't able to watch was exquisite. Congratulations to all 8 finalists.

On another note, it's a shame there's not enough place for spectators, I would have been the first to attend what I think would be an incredible finale. I really think it adds to the substance of the tournament to allow other players to come watch their favorites and meet & greet their fellow players.
Also, maybe I did not quite understand the format of the finale, but is it conventional to play 4 players-game in the finale when all the tournament has been about 2 players-duel? It seems quite aberrant to play a format that deviates from the intrinsic core of this tournament.
I'd be really curious to hear about this topic, just to know/understand.

Apart from this, what a great and entertaining tournament it has been for me to watch. Can't wait for the next one !

About your concern about the tournament's finale, I will transmit them to DoW. I quite agree on the fact that 2 players games on the US Map would have more sense as all qualifying process was with this format. But maybe the finalists themselves think otherwise ?

About spectating, and the location place:
- I will transmit the will of many about allowing access to spectators ; but fill now, the answer was no.
- I have no idea where the finale could take place. I was only missioned for the BGA part... my role is limited to that. I have no part in all further decisions. But once more, I can transmit your advices and questions to DoW.

Personally, no, I think the same. And I think also many others would agree 2p would make more sense

I agree with ExaltedAngel. 2 players game on USA makes more sense for the Finale.

1)Choosen win
2) Ommie win
3) Chucrute win
4) Sunny win

all of them to reach top 8..... he got them all

Oh, yes, I know that I am lucky to be in the 8... the luck part was so important in this tournament and this format of 1 only game, and there were so many external factors to calculate tiebreakers, that I didn't want to hope and preferred thinking that I was already out (safer to avoid any future pain )... and when I see Q. stats, I was right.

And I'm really sorry for all my old mates who couldn't make the cut, and especially for the frenchies, you ALL deserved to be in, like me !

Like ExaltedAngel, Cournot or daedin, of course I also prefer 2p games !
... because it's logical and obvious when you compete in a format in all the previous rounds, to compete also in this same format for the final
... and because it's the format with the highest strategic level, and the most interessant for the spectators who'd follow the games.

As others have said, I agree It would be logical to use the same game format in the final that was used in the other phases. Two compared to four players changes the game a lot. Having said that, I would be happy playing either format. Each format has its own merits.

It's an honor to be able to participate in the finals - agree that keeping the same 2p arrangement makes sense, but ultimately DoW has the right to decide as it sees fit.

Others will disagree, but imo 4p USA involves a bit more luck and less strategy than the other formats - usually two of the 4 players draw big tix and there isn't much the other 2 can do to slow the game. There is much more ticket fiending available as well.

In 5p you can make a game of it even if your starting tix are garbage - blocking comes into play - you can still draw tix - more strategy.

2p makes the most sense, but if DoW wishes to test the final 8 in other ways, then so be it, as long as it's not any of the mega expansions
