Portal Games licensing and Imperial Settlers

I was thrilled to see 51st State on BGA since my understanding had been that Portal Games wasn't interested in licensing their games. In fact, the available licenses page in the developer portal still shows that information.

While 51st State is a great game, Imperial Settlers is one of my all time favorites. Has there been any discussion of licensing it?

Let's see how 51st State will perform on BGA. There is no plans but if there's a demand and Portal Games and/or BGA would be interested - I definitely can redesign it to be Imperial Settlers. After all, they are not really different

Ironically today I cancelled my subscription after many years of supporting since the pandemic. The same day I learnt that Portal are coming to BGA ironic will try out the 51st beta. +1 Impies on BGA pls.

It doesn't sound like my vote is necessary for BGAing IS but I'd vote for it.

I wouldn't say it's " better", but it is more the kind of game I like. And I like both.

IS is more asymmetrical (three elements instead of one), the asymmetry factor is more... asymmetrical, and it plays faster or seems to, with the five-turn limit.

And some of the coding for BGA, can presumably be adapted from 51 to IS, since the two games are about the same.

Infinite becomes 3 to 5 depending on cards you get. I would said there is more dis-balance in players turn length. If you there is dis-balance in players experience it could look like someone do 5-8 moves when opponent make them 30.

I love imperial settlers , would be amazing if it came. Like the theme more. Less of the just sell ress for points a bit.

Though happy 51. Is here, just have only played it twice before. It's faster paced and I would never say that settlers plays faster.
