Titan Can Take Destruction Tasks?

Hello,

I recently had a game where I used Titan to destroy my opponents Legendary (and a few other pieces), since Titan says "pieces do not count as destroyed by you," I expected not to be able to take End of Legends, but when I hit end turn it was like "Are you sure you don't want to take a task?" and then let me take it. Is this how it's supposed to go?

Update: I dug into this game replay and it turns out I actually summoned the Titan on top of my opponents legendary, which does in fact count for End of Legends even though it was the "Titan" piece, only the other destruction effect does not count for the tasks.

Mystery solved.
