Bonus activation

Hello,
I would like to know how to activate the bonuses after having placed a card that allows it.
For example a card that allows us to place an additional card?
Because I can't activate the bonus. After having placed my card, I validate and it passes my opponent.
There is something that I must be missing....

there is nothing to activate. If a card bonus allows you to place another card then just place it. follow the prompt on top of screen.

Have sure all the spent cards have the right color ?
"To activate the bonus, all cards that you discard as payment must have the same card color as the card being played"

See last page of the rulebook: "Place a creature with the indicated type symbol from your hand into your forest without paying its cost; you may use neither its effect nor its bonus."

You cannot chain bonuses on the same turn: If a card is played as a bonus, that card's own bonus does not trigger.

However, other cards that take effect when you play this card, still get triggered. For example if you have a mushroom or a shrub that causes you to get a card from the deck when you play certain other kinds of cards. Since those are not a bonus or effect of the card you just played, but rather of a card that's already in your forest, it still triggers.

Also, if a card's effect or bonus is to get another turn, then that other turn is a whole new turn, and you can get bonuses normally on that new turn.
