Does anyone miss the original version?

I am not sure I like this "updated" version; seems a bit "dumbed-down" and less strategic than the original. Thoughts? -OGM

I don't like the way you can just skip back onto land or dance along boats as a swimmer. It should take an extra move to get into a boat. And either the kaiju or the shark should go 3 spaces! I like the dynamic of the kaiju though, so it makes land unsafe. It's kind of fun to push meeples into the sea serpent in the middle of the board with the kaiju.
