Option for non-timed games to learn

Hey there,
Is there currently a way for players to learn a new game without having to play competitively against players who already know how to play? I can't this option anywhere.
It would be great to have an option for a game to not be timed in order to learn how to play. It could be in a 'training'/'learning' page so that others could join purely for learning. There are so many games to play on this forum, many that I'd like to try but don't feel comfortable learning a game with players who know how to play already and will get impatient.
I'm just wondering if this has already been accommodated for (apart from the teaching videos posted for each game).

One can always make the game turn-based. This doesn't mean that have to be played out over several days, it just means that clock management won't be an issue.

Additionally, turn ELO off if you are wanting to learn a game -- this will make it so you won't worry about making less than ideal moves, as score doesn't matter.
And, you should probably put "Learning Game -- please play in real time" or something similar in the game representation box -- this will let people know you aren't familiar with the game, and will tend to scare away people not willing to teach.
