Churn is one of my most interesting mechanisms from the 33 years I've been designing abstract games.

The churn rate is beyond extreme. For example, on a size 7 hexagonal board (127 cells), it would take about 950,000 turns to complete one play. The default is size 3 (19 cells), which takes about 77 turns.
Gameplay is somewhat volatile. Advantage can switch unpredictability. But overall it's a fairly decent game. Has a respectable "Let's play it again" factor.
