Fair beans, I thought probably not - was just desperately trying to fix a game of Age of Innovation that I completely tanked by clicking the wrong thing haha

If it's that bad, you can choose to collectively abandon. Otherwise, it's just part of that game - it doesn't usually mean you can't still enjoy the game. I have friends IRL who aren't particularly open to reversing mistakes (even where they've just happened), that's just how they prefer to play. Once your turn is done, you're done, mistakes and all. It just becomes part of that game.

I hope you don't have the person in your group that takes five minutes to move. Immediately says, "oh, wait." Then takes another five minutes to completely rethink the whole turn. If you have that person in your group the need to have a one-and-done policy is apparent.

No. We do sometimes have a degree of AP at the table but it's not really always the same person (though some are worse than others) and most are amenable to some gentle prodding if it starts dragging too long. My rule stickler friend (as I call him) is just not a fan of "backsies" - though he is also flexible sometimes, and I who hate being stuck with an obviously stupid move I just made try to also be flexible to let some of my mistakes go (especially if it's not a new-to-me game and I should know better). We're a reasonably tolerant group really.
