But we had an example below where 5 out of 9 people were advancing. This wasn't just a coin flip. So the chances that only the oldest accounts advanced by chance out of all the possible combinations of players that could have advanced became exceedingly low. Was it impossible? No, but if it's not account age, then it's something that correlates so strongly with account age that it is indistinguishable.
Interesting. I'm not sure if I had seen that post before or not (I usually read most things in the tournament forum, except for stuff about specific tournaments I'm not interested in). It's entirely possible I just forgot about it.
An example like that does give it more weight - I've only ever seen it where just one other player is eliminated (other than the booted player) when I've seen it personally. And you (and the original poster of that content) are correct, the chances of that exact combination happening by chance are definitely low.
