I am on my 16th straight loss and I need to be told where I can improve

For what it's worth, I am 3-1 in games against players rated expert or higher; and the one loss was by 3 points (And admittedly, I blew the game and should have won, but it was because of blatant tactical errors, not because I do not understand the cards).

I realize that is only 4 games. But, for whatever reason, players rated 500+ rarely seem to join my games. Nevertheless, if I were as inept as you seem to think I am, I don't think I would be 3-1 (and very nearly 4-0) against high-rated players.

My guess is you'd have to actively search out people that high rated and invite them to a game. Since 3p prelude is the current standard for arena, there's probably a lot fewer players in other modes/player counts. I run into that a lot trying to play some of the new maps, very rare to find players over 200 in those games

Based on the way I Have been treated thus far by such players, I'm cool with not putting a lot of effort into seeking them out for games. Playing against someone like Royal Rook, for example, is a guaranteed loss, because:
1) Either you win, in which case a thread will be posted about how unlucky he was, or
2) he wins, and that would just solidify the smug and condescending attitude that some of the top players seem to have.

I have befriended a very good high ranked player here. Not one who participates in these form threads. Our games are sufficient mental stimulation for me.

Frank, this is fun for me, I am one of the best player in the world, I have nothing left to prove but building up the BGA community.

Dubious claim aside, you may wish to consider that you are achieving the opposite effect with this constant assertion of your own skill and achievements. Communities like this can benefit greatly from having kind and patient teachers, but your tone is not consistent with your stated goal.

That's a pretty dismissive thing to ask. The fact that the student needs to be grateful for the lessons he's been taught in no way gives the teacher a free pass to be condescending, rude, or mean.

it's about getting over yourself, whether it's love or pursuit, if you think something/someone is worth it then let go all your discomforts. No one care about your feelings when comes to the STEM field and anything that deals with numbers, there is only alpha. I only care about people who wants to be the best, and guide them to the right path. Me being rude will be just ignoring bad posts and let aspiring players waste thousand of game hours. People who really put in the work rather than just talk about it, recognize what I am saying right away. Me disclosing alpha is not being rude.
