Don't underestimate snack quality and quantity. As an Alpha tester, I frequently observed (with some amusement) how some stingier players found themselves in a sticky situation as their karma crumbled from willfully skimping on the snacking component. Unsurprisingly, the crunchier the game the more frequently this occured.
