voice chat component to bga games

hey, i'm going through a rough time right now and i would like to have small talk along with board games. i've been trying to find an active discord or something to jump in on games but i haven't found anything yet.

i just came to the forums for the first time ever, looking to see if theres a group that does vid or voice chat. i've come to realize that it's quite an important part of the gaming experience for me.

I'm not a member, but it seems quite likely they use voice chat.

I'm definitely interested in this as well, I don't have a much time for this as I'd like, but it is a component I miss playing online vs in person.

Majority of my play is asynchronous but I'm usually pretty chatty with anyone who wants to play I'm happy to. Im just getting getting back into playing after a bit of hiatus. I'm also on both the friendly and tutors groups and they have varying levels of activity, but never a bad way to get yourself out there.

Sorry you were having a rough time - hope it's getting better. I have premium for at least another month here which gives you vid / audio chat in game, but have never used it. heh. Not sure I want to continue it.
