Possible bug?

During the end of turn round, I was prompted to use my gardener action again since there was dice left on that bridge. However, the prompt said I could not because I didn't have the food to perform the action again. I can't find anywhere in the rules where it says you need to pay the food price to perform the gardener action during the end of round phase. Was this a bug or is that how the game should be?

Did the gardener action provide another gardener? Then you do need food to pay the gardener card cost

I think i found a similar bug.

My round end bonus from the bridge provides me with the action to place a new gardner for 3. I did that and had still money left after payment. Then I wanted to place the new gardner on a spot (5 rice) to pay 4 for a new warrior. Taking that action already made me pay 5 rice + 4 money, so I was only able to place the guy but not take the action. I think there is one money payment too much in this case.

Just remember you can't activate gardener cards bonuses that you gain during the GARDENER step.

Just to confirm (maybe I got lost in translation)

In the Gardeners activation phase if you somehow place a gardener (paying the food cost) you trigger that action, but you don't get the activation again for that phase.
