How many games played does one need to be a guru and allowed to vote? I would definitely vote for 2-player.
I am a guru in a niche game that barely has any players, so I am not dure what the criteria is. I haven't played that game many times, and all my plays were solo. Yet, I was made a guru and allowed to vote on the upcoming arena format.

How to become a Game Guru?
Your karma must be at least 90, and you must have been registered on Board Game Arena for at least one year.
The players who played the most (ranked) games in the last 30 days will automatically become gurus. (limited to 100 players)
Once a player is a guru for a specific game, they will keep their status for at least 1 month (unless their karma drops).

I only play TFM once or twice a day, probably 1.5 times per day on average. 45 games in a month will not put one in the top 100.
I should note that I was made a guru in game in which I have zero ranked games. My Elo is literally 0.

... in a game where there are less than 100 other players who played more than 10 games... and where probably few (if any) play Arena at all... and those who play Arena are probably also gurus and can "game the system" as much as you.

I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't even 100 gurus for this game. It's a very rarely played game. The few times I tried to play against a person, the open game just sat there for hours.
