How to find tableID for games on ios?

Post by Sopoke »

To submit bug reports they require tableID, but I can’t find it for neither ongoing or past games

The way I know to get table ids involves pulling them out of the url.

Table urls usually look like this: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=623752868 and the id is the number at the end.

If you report a bug using the link from the table then it prefills the table id. Though that doesnt help if the bug prevents you from loading the table

It's simple: Rotate your device to landscape mode, then look in the upper-left corner.

Any reason why this only appears in landscape? It doesn't take up much real estate on the screen.

I'm not a BGA employee, but I do develop BGA games. In general, top-screen real estate is extremely limited in portrait mode. It may not take up "much space," but it takes up enough.

Bonus landscape feature: You can easily see the game log, which helps tremendously in many games to follow the action.
