question about adjustment

Post by deeezz »

Hello, this is my first time playing this game on BGA and I noticed there are adjustments in the game. Does adjustments also apply in the real game in person, Can we find them in the rule book? I am assuming the adjustments are there to make the game more balanced

Hello ! You have différent type of ajustements first, some where civs are balanced with more or less resources, depending on their initial weaknesses, and another where the way the civ work is modified, those last civs (November 2022) are considered by the community the more balanced. For the physical game, some of the adjustements are the same than the last version of BGA (November 2022), but there is some differences that are included in a recent pack of adjusted civilizations that you can find on the Stonemaier Store !

Unfortunately no. When you're buying new game, you get regular versions of civilaztions and can use errata (downloadable on bgg) to adjust balance. But if you want final rebalance, which includs complete rework of some of the weakest/strongest civs you need to buy civs pack which is sold separately for 15 bucks

Actually, if you go to the Stonemaier website and go to the shop, you can look at the copy of Tapestry available. In the US shop right now, the description includes the following in bold: “This printing of Tapestry includes 16 revised civ mats.” [ https://store.stonemaiergames.com/products/tapestry ]

Their online shop for other regions might have older copies, so make sure to check for your region.
